About the Item

Marci Oleszkiewicz is an acclaimed American figurative painter who is known for her sensitive realistic works of women and children. "The Journey Ahead" is a look back at a time in American history when rail travel was king. A young girl is boarded and anxiously awaiting her departure. Marci was born and raised in Chicago and privately studied at the Palette and Chisel in Chicago. She has won several medals in shows hosted by the American Impressionist Society and Oil Painters of America. She lives in Chicago with her husband and young son.
