About the Item
Allegory of Time shows the beauty of figurative painting. This painting show the strength of the human body by the use of light and shadow.
One can almost feel the heat of the figure as he works in the mill. The fire and heat reflecting on the figure's arm and body. Looking at his face we wonder what he is looking at as he toils away.
Mica is a Melbourne based award winning artist with an extensive background in figure and portrait drawing and painting. He has an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has studied under many genuine modern day masters. Mica is the founder of MARA, the Melbourne Atelier of Representational Art.
