About the Item

Beneath a crescent moon, two figures dressed in black stand beside a vivid red biplane, captured in the stillness before departure. One glances back toward us, bridging viewer and story, while the other faces the plane, fixed on what lies ahead. A single suitcase rests nearby, suggesting escape, farewell, or a journey yet undefined. The minimalist setting, bold contrasts, and quiet tension evoke themes of transition, memory, and courage. Blending realism with a touch of the surreal, the scene invites reflection on the threshold between earth and sky, past and future. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam tm and Italian canvas by Unico were used. The finish is satin varnish, and the edges are painted in the background color. This painting is created on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. It is carefully packed in a cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap. The artwork is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
