About the Item
The painting transports us to a world where reality and absurdity merge. An old house contrasts against a dark sky resembling an abyss. A cow grazes peacefully, standing out against the green grass. A heron walks away from the old world, leaving it behind.
But then we notice a detail: a rope with drying clothes is stretched across a rocket lodged in the ground. Nature itself seems unable to withstand this chaos. This isn't just a detail — it's a reminder that worrying about the past can't fix the present, but it will only ruin the future. A military jet flies by, tearing apart the peaceful scene. The sense of danger is palpable, reminding us that fear and anxiety can't control the future, only distort it. Minimalist colors — browns, greens, and grays — create a calm yet tense atmosphere. They make us question: 'What is happening here, and how does it affect the future?'
Maybe it's us — the observers — trapped in a world where worry ruins the future rather than changing the present?"
Created with high-quality Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam on Italian canvas Unico, finished with a satin varnish. The edges are painted. Part of the Life in Avatar series, it comes on a pre-stretched canvas mounted on a wooden frame. Piece is securely packaged in a cardboard box with bubble wrap and is signed by the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Name: Natalia Bagatska. Born: 1967, Horodyshche, Ukraine. Lives and works in Kyiv. She graduated from the University of Technology and Design in "clothing design" specialty. Profession: artist. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Specialization: acrylic painting. Style: hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism. Historical techniques of oil painting, embodied in acrylic paints. Subjects: Still lifes, nature, environment, people. Has more than 30 group and 4 personal exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. The works are presented in various printed publications, in particular "Kyiv in art", Italian magazine "Hyperrealism", "Artbox Project Basel. Miami" Artbox Project Barcelona 2.0, Switzerland, online magazines "ArtBaazar", as well as special projects "365 Days After" (international), "Women in Art", "Hryvnia Art" (Ukraine), etc. The works are part of the Museum's collection prominent figures of Ukrainian culture in Kyiv and the Korsak Museum of Modern Art in Lutsk.
