About the Item
Oil on canvas
Neliko Mamuchashvili is a Georgian female artist born in 2004 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. She is looks for forms and rhythms that serve as a metaphors of the inner core of our singular origin. Neliko thinks that the outside world is similar to her alter ego, the other side of her with its own rhythms and beings, people with whom she coexists. Nowadays, she is working on the series “I hear preyers from my father’s headphones” which is the paradoxical concept, almost like Dadaïst metaphor of coexistence. How fat from her father, it seems to be as musical melody, what is actually a prayer to the artist, and vice versa. Conversely, this mirrors is the world as an alter ego for the artist: a reflection of herself but reversed, like an image of the mirror.
