About the Item

The painting "Together" is the second piece in the "Romanticization" series. It serves as a gentle reminder of the importance of staying close in times of vulnerability and pain. The cracked surface of the canvas symbolizes the fragility of stability and the unpredictability of life's circumstances. The strong bond within the couple is represented by a ribbon that shimmers with the light of tiny sparks, much like the feelings between lovers shimmer with romantic and treasured memories. The painting includes a phrase in Ukrainian: "І в моменти журби, і в моменти слабкості ти - моє джерело спокійної радості" ("In moments of sorrow, in moments of weakness, you are my source of quiet happiness.) ROMANTICIZATION SERIES The "Romanticization" series is an artistic call to rediscover harmony and love in your own life by shifting your focus. Sometimes circumstances unfold beyond our control, leaving us powerless to change their course. Yet life is unique and unrepeatable, and every moment deserves to be filled with meaning and joy. Romanticizing the everyday is a practice that helps cultivate inner peace, notice small pleasures, and appreciate the uniqueness of each moment. It brings a new sparkle to our daily lives, adorns them with warmth and tenderness, and invites us to embrace the present with love and gratitude. ABOUT ARTIST Olha Vlasova is a Ukrainian artist who has been passionate about painting since childhood. She received her higher art education in Kyiv in the field of fine painting and costume design, which has greatly influenced her work. As an artist, Olha focuses her research on conveying the personal experiences of women who encounter condescension and diminution of their value because of their sensitivity and femininity. She conveys that the concepts of femininity and seriousness, playfulness and rationality are not mutually exclusive and can coexist. Olha speaks about the self-worth and self-sufficiency of women and the deep perception of one's own femininity. She has extensive artistic experience and her works are in private collections in the USA, Norway, Denmark, France and Ukraine.

Love of My Life

In Ihren letzten Arbeiten zu der Love of My Life...
