About the Item

What comes to your mind when you see old people, with shrinking and wrinkled cheeks, giving slower gestures as if time were in their favor, What really comes to your mind when you think about the Future, Does free will really determine whether fate will bring us opportunities and fortune, Deep down do you think we want to pursue a career and be successful, or do we just want to be wealthy? How many wives do you wish to wive and how many children do you wish to bear, Do you wish to live in a mansion in your power Or we just want a small nice house with a fine garden, where solace becomes peace Keep these pictures in your head And let us dream on. (Written by the Artist) Shipping Procedure Ships in a well-protected tube from Nigeria This work is unique, not a print or other type of copy. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. About Artist Osoba Omoayo George(b.1998 ) is a Nigerian visual artist whose flight as an artist started at the age of fifteen, he was exposed to the world of graffiti, which inspired his interest in the visual arts. At this age, he acquired an interest in personalizing items such as T-shirts, caps, and sneakers, which ultimately prompted him to enroll in an art program at a more advanced educational facility. From there, he graduated from Yaba College of Technology, where he majored in painting and studied art. His legacy centers around him constantly exploring new ways to communicate and express himself through his art style, taking natural forms of color, shape, lines, and textures. Therefore, his works appear similar to their natural state while also looking more dramatic and stylized. Oil paint, acrylic paint, and polymer are mediums he blends with while creating. He is on a flight to promote and build up self-confidence, rebuild elegance, and express the beauty in black skin(nature) through his works.

At this point in time I have come to the realization that as time jumps, I have to evolve, and personal responsibilities become heavier as we want for greater things in life. I am not settling for less anymore so we can't go back to the hood doing the norms, I told my friends I’d be gone only for a few years so I go with my sketchbook and life jacket...

Figurehead

In the days when every seaport had its figurehead to show, this same day calls for free, I must go save these countrymen, my honorable crew if they still breathe. I must sail deep down north again, with strong men and skillful hands. All I ask this day is dread naught and a star to steer her as the people blare for salvaging; And all I ask again is a windy day and a friendly storm at night, And a sweet dream with my shipment when the long cruise is over.
