Whimsical underwater scene of a snorkeler by Patrice Brisbois (French, b. 1945). The diver is wearing a plaid suit and striped tie, which is floating freely in the water. Around him, there are several fish, represented in an angular and semi-abstract manner. This piece has heavy impasto, adding depth and texture.
Signed "Patrice Brisbois" in the lower left coroner.
