Alfred Ekstam, a renowned artist from Mangskog, Sweden, is known for his exquisite landscape paintings. During the 1920's, Nell was the curator of the Tuesday Afternoon Club in Los Angeles and further studied with Nicolai Fechin, Paul Lauritz and Fritz Werner.
