About the Item
Artist Comments
Part of artist Rachel Srinivasan's Tarot Rodeo series. "This painting is called the King of Wands as it is the male master of the social world in the tarot deck," explains Rachel. "This card represents the star signs of Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. And the warm colors of red, orange, pink, together with the pyramid, symbolize fire. In this painting, I am the subject in disguise as the King of Wands."
About the Artist
For Rachel Srinivasan, an idea is worth putting on a canvas only if it still feels exciting after a few days. Rachel enjoys mulling the idea over in her mind for some time before creating an artwork. She hopes viewers will engage with her work and wonder about the subject matter, shapes and colors. "My current work is all about creating a connection between the person on the canvas with the viewer," she explains. She prefers large paintings and sometimes even makes her own canvases. She currently lives in Arizona and enjoys baking rhubarb pies, reading, running and going to art museums.

Artist Libby Ramage shows a father and daughter being swept away by the beauty of the autumn leaves. "They try to grasp that which is beyond their size," says Libby. A horse gallops forward, representing the fading summer days. She chooses highly saturated colors to enrich the intensity of the moment. "Nature looms large in this artwork."
About the Artist
