Rozentals Art High School, in 1971 graduated from the Painting Department of the Art Academy of Latvia (diploma thesis supervisor Indulis Zariņš). He has participated in exhibitions since 1970, organized about 20 solo exhibitions, and was a teacher. J. Rozentals Art High School, worked in various painting genres, created monumental wall paintings, decorated interiors.
