About the Item

Contra and bass, oil on canvas, 77x57 cm Vsevolod Salishchev is a St. Petersburg erotic artist, painter, graphic artist and poet - one of the few contemporary artists demonstrating the high art of sensual painting, a former naval officer who served on a submarine for many years. He turned to the erotic theme as a child. Epoch-making in this sense was the scandal in the 2nd grade around the deck of cards, which he painted in an erotic manner, which for some reason did not arouse due admiration among the teachers. However, it seems that it was the "dreams" born of the closed world of the submarine that were the last impetus to the fact that Vsevolod, after leaving the fleet, became a professional erotic artist, and an erotic artist is "... an erotomaniac sublimated in works of art ". With such a new, own composition, concept, Vsevolod defines himself, his work and state of mind. Over the years of creativity, Vsevolod painted more than 350 works, about 300 are in private collections in 14 countries of the world. His delicate, delicate and very sublime works were exhibited at 18 exhibitions in Russia and abroad - in Sweden, Switzerland and Japan. Of these, 12 exhibitions are personal. Vsevolod accompanies some of his paintings with his own poetic lines.

Tramp (pet dog, beagle, troubadour guitare, animal portrait, surrealist painting
By Rudolf Kosow
Located in Quebec, Quebec
"Tramp," by Rudolf Kosow, is a whimsical painting that delights in its surreal juxtaposition of scale and serenity. At the center is a beagle's face, depicted with lifelike detail and expressiveness, eyes glistening with a calm intelligence that beckons the viewer into a state of contemplation. Positioned against the backdrop of the dog's vast visage, a small, solitary figure strums a guitar. The musician, dressed in casual attire, appears as a wandering troubadour, his music resonating with the quietude of the scene. This miniature man, though diminutive in size, plays a significant role in the narrative, providing a sense of companionship and shared experience. The painting's title, "Tramp," suggests a free spirit, both in the itinerant musician and the beagle, known for its adventurous and exploratory nature. Kosow's piece is an ode to the wandering souls and the moments of unexpected harmony they encounter. Through "Tramp," we are reminded of the melodies that score our journeys and the silent kinship we find along the way. It is an invitation to embrace the music of life, to find connection in the tranquility of existence, and to acknowledge the symphonies that unfold in the presence of kindred spirits, regardless of their size or form. keywords; painting on canvas, surrealist painting, animal vs human, americana, nature, man, man vs nature, surrealism, giant animal...
