A very fine antique British oil painting, depicting this elegant figural group of young aristocratic ladies enjoying 'morning amusement'.
The paintings subject is based on, though not copied like for like, the slightly earlier masterpiece by Sir Joshua Reynolds. There is an old provenance label to the reverse.
A beautiful and historical 'conversation piece' work from the Georgian era of British history.
