"It Happened This Way" Surrealist Pop Art in Acrylic on Canvas
Vibrant, expressive composition by T. Scott Stromberg (American, b. 1964). This piece is laden with symbolism and personal meaning. There are several figures, some of which are holding bottles of liquor, wearing crowns, or pointing at a star. Angels fly overhead, and a devil can be seen in the corner. Stylistically, the composition pulls from cubism, pop art, and surrealism.
Signed "T. Scott" in the lower right corner.
No frame, but the edges have been painted for a frame-less display.
Canvas size: 24"H x 36"W
T Scott Stromberg (American, b. 1964) received his BFA from the University of North Texas. Stromberg is a member of the Frisco Arts Association and the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. He lives and works in Frisco, Texas.
