Dimensiones: 71 x 57 cm.
Obra antigua de excepcional calidad y emotividad, realizada al óleo sobre tabla, atribuida al círculo de Alessandro Allori (Florencia, 1535–1607), destacado pintor manierista del Renacimiento tardío.
La pintura representa una intensa y devocional Virgen Dolorosa, abrazando con recogimiento un paño blanco en actitud de sufrimiento, acompañada por un cáliz eucarístico en primer plano, símbolo de la Pasión de Cristo. La escena transmite un profundo sentimiento espiritual y misticismo, realzado por los tonos oscuros del fondo y el modelado delicado del rostro.
Estado: Presenta algunas señales de antigüedad, leves desgastes y pequeñas faltas en bordes, coherentes con su edad. Tabla firme y estable. No intervenida, conserva pátina original.
