About the Item

The painting shows a woman standing on the balcony of a villa and watching a parrot sitting on her hand. The parrot seems frightening and mysterious, he looks directly at the viewer, as if penetrating into the very depths of his consciousness. At the same time, in the distance on the horizon a black bird is visible, symbolizing reality and the danger that always awaits us when we are in the world of our beliefs and illusions.This picture raises many questions and makes us think about what is actually reality and what is just a projection of our illusions. I'm trying to show that in a world where we often live in our fantasies and dreams, there is always a place for true reality, which can be both joyful and dangerous. The place pictured here is Athersee in Austria, I often come here to enjoy the silence of this place...
