About the artist:
Vittorio Maria di Carlo was born in 1939 in San Marco in Lamis, Italy. After attending art courses at the State Institute of Bari, he obtained his diploma in painting and decoration. He had been recognized as a young emerging artist in his time and later was remarkably successful in several collective and personal exhibitions both in major Italian cities and around the world: Las Palmas, Barcelona, Manila, Sydney, Zurich, Monte Carlo, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and New York. The work of Vittorio Maria Di Carlo is held in numerous collections worldwide.
