Yasushi Tanaka (1886-1941) was a Japanese painter, best known for his female portraits. Born in Saitama, he emigrated to Seattle and began his artistic career in 1904. He then moved to Paris in 1920 and would exhibit in prestigious salons. His sensitive and unique style blends Japanese and French influences. “The bath” Oil on canvas. Signed lower left “Tanaka”.
