Well executed pleinair painting of a hill over looking the Bay of Napoli, Italy. done at the turn of the century in the old Italian romantic style.
As with many itinerant artists of the time Yves Ginnari was prolific and many of his works were done on site. He would paint for the tourists on the "Grand Tour" at the turn of the 20th century.

Image is excellent in a vintage over-mat, gold painted on edge of mat cut and this prevented acid damage to paper.
