About the Item
The painting developed from my walks at The Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm in Wells, Maine. The yellow of the historic buildings and the stark Maine winter light provided me with wonderful contrasts and colors for this work. Once a saltwater farm, the property is currently a National Estuarine Research Reserve .
