This piece is an abstracted version of the coastline near the picturesque town of Cassis in the south of France where a hundred years ago, many of the post-Impressionist artists painted. I recently visited Cassis and was captivated by the rugged beauty of the rocky cliffs plunging into the azure blue Mediterranean Sea.
