Dreamer, serves as a tribute to a country that has captivated Gregoire Devin since childhood. Through his art, Devin has exhibited his works in numerous galleries, met extraordinary people, and, in his own way, realized his personal American Dream. This dream embodies the belief in accomplishing greatness from humble beginnings through perseverance and faith.
In his new diptych piece, which is a smaller version of "American Dream" piece, Devin integrated words he views as essential when reflecting on the United States, along with the names of influential figures who have shaped the nation. He invites viewers to explore the array of words and hidden symbols intricately woven into the painting. When viewed from a distance, these elements come together to form the American flag, making the piece a powerful and symbolic homage.
