The team of curators of the Art-S-Gallery.
"This vertical painting is one of the "Flowers" series, painted in the spring of 2020 in France. " said Tatiana about this artwork. "It was the time when the pandemic ended and we could go out for walks. There was a spring riot of nature all around, everything was blooming and fragrant. I was inspired by the poppy fields, of which there are a lot near my house.
Upon return to atelier, a series of paintings "Poppies" was born, the series has been repeatedly presented at international exhibitions, and some of them are already in private collections in Russia and France. The painting is painted on canvas in oil using a palette knife and a pasty technique, which creates a 3D effect when viewed. The painting is ready for sale, if desired, it can be framed. The painting will decorate and harmonize the space of any interior, because in the language of flowers, the poppy is a symbol of unprecedented beauty, unfading youth and feminine charm."

Tatiana Gagarina was born in a small town on the banks of the Volga River in Russia. She has been living in France since 2015. Since 2017 she has been actively painting. At first Tatiana was interested in the art of Impressionist artists: Monet, Degas, Rembrandt. She also really loves the art of Picasso. Afterwards she began to study painting materials, color palette on her own, and took online lessons from contemporary artists. The first very prestigious exhibition of her four paintings took place at Salon 40 in the city of Saint Louis in France in 2017, where paintings were seriously chosen for participation. An article anout her work was published in a local newspaper about my work. Out of forty artists represented, Gagarina's paintings were selected by foreign students as the best. Their description got into the book of impressions of foreign students studying at the local university of France. This event served as a powerful motivation to go further and develop herself in this direction. The result of seven years of work as an artist is membership in the European Association of Artists in Paris, membership in the Eurasian Union of Artists in Moscow, participation in more than forty international and personal exhibitions in Russia, France, Germany and Switzerland. Tatiana is a winner of several awards in various categories of such exhibitions. Her paintings are in private collections in Europe and Russia, as well as in the museum of the Alsace Region Miners Association in France. Tatiana Gagarina paints in oil in the impressionist style.
