Detailed mid century depiction of a wine cellar with large oak barrels by Zoe Thompson (American, b.1923). Signed lower left corner, but signature is now illegible. Sticker with artist's information on verso. Presented in an ornate wood frame with a linen liner. Image size: 12"H x 9.5"W Zoe Thompson (American b. 1923) studied art at the Public Works Administration at 17 and at 19 at the Fine Arts College of Carnegie-Mellon Institute at Pittsburgh, PA, and at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA. She is a member of the Fine Arts League of Cupertino and a signature member of the Society of Western Artists. She served as president of FALC in 1985, and as director of the Sun Gallery, Cupertino. She has over 100 awards for her paintings over the years
