About the Item
A travel into the past. This is a reflection of the struggle of the black race for survival, equality etc. The 2 portraits is my representation of who we are - royals, warriors, and survivors. We as a race need to picture ourselves as royals, warriors and survivors. I have depicted the ongoing battle with warriors in the background holding shields, spears. The figures all around the painting signifies unity. The traditional xylophone on the lower right sums it up.
