About the Item
The Kaneshie lorry station which I’ve depicted is located at the side of the Kaneshie market in Accra, Ghana. On my last trip to Ghana which happens to be where I come, i visited the market and climbed to the top floor and looking down at the lorry station was this beautiful scenery and I decided to paint it. I was amazed at how these lorries which are all working and road worthy were packed like a jigsaw puzzle. Surprisingly, each bus was able to move out when it was time to go to its destination .
