“The Last Evening before the Rain" is about a particular evening when a riot-like situation burns everything down and the rains from above are the last hope for the remaining living things to survive the wrath of the situation. Events like the Bengal riot, Delhi riots, election campaign, LAC conflict, LOC conflict, CAA, Farm Bill, terrorist attacks, and many other socio-political issues have inspired the artist to address these challenges through this work. The sudden shower of rain is like an auspicious thought that can provide a cure for the burns of the politics of today. The artist hopes that today evening will be a rainy one.
