About the Item
In this framed 17.5" x 29.5" Acrylic on Canvas Board Painting by Anthony Steyn, the artist has has created a warm sunrise landscape painting of his homeland in Karoo, South Africa. The deep orange sky along the horizon peeks behind a "kopie" (hill) sharply defined against the sky and brown desert foreground. The bright blue cloudless sky emerges along the top of the painting as day breaks. The painting is framed in a gold tone wooden frame with a linen liner.
Anthony Steyn is a self-taught artist, born and raised in South Africa and currently living in Oklahoma City, USA.
