Upon graduation from high school, Bette Lou started working as a secretary for 3M in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was soon spending considerable time illustrating company reports, which led to the decision to pursue her creative talents professionally... Ms. Voorhis married, moved to Richardson, Texas and continued her art training at the Dallas Fine Arts Museum... She studied under the direction of many noted artists, and is a graduate of the Texas School of Fine Arts.
