Abstracted landscape by Calee Dunlap (American, b. 1988). A ridge of mountains are rendered in a topographic style, with layers of paint and marker. Atop the mountain there is a transparent dome shape, sitting against a textural, brushy sky. This work is on paper with heave gesso.
Unisigned, but acquired directly from the artist.
Presented in a new grey mat.
Paper size: 9"H x 12"W
Calee Dunlap (American, b. 1988) grew up in Wyoming, and graduated from the University of Wyoming before moving to Monterey, California. Dunlap states, “My artworks aim to highlight the beauty of the world with stylized, vibrant compositions and inspire a little more kindness to the planet and its people.”
