An impressionist, almost abstract, landscape painting by artist Dina Gardner. This piece features a series of trees loosely depicted in shades of green, purple, and red, standing against a soft blue, gray, and green background. The trees sit upon a slanted hill, with blades of grass becoming evident in the foreground. The composition's subject of nature and impressionist approach comes across as traditional, while the square layout gives it a more modern feel.

Artist Commentary:
"Dream Catchers" was created from a photo I took while on an RV trip through some of America's National Parks. I have absolutely loved working from this photo and have created a series of paintings from it. Each piece is unique in its composition and colors. Unlike many artists who work directly from photos to create realistic paintings, I tend to use my photo references only in the initial stage of a painting, as my source of inspiration. After I have sketched out the composition, I put the photo away and let the pastels guide me through the painting, allowing me to create unique pieces every time.
