About the Item
Contemporary Landscape painting 'Evening Stroll' of the beach with sea, sand and sky, with a figure walking.
Martinez was born in Cocentaina, in 1953 and started to paint at very young age obtaining several artistic awards before he was a teenager. He studied painting and technical drawing near the city of Alcoy, and went on to attend the Fine Art School. Martinez took part in a several courses of painting at the “Universidad de Alicante” until he found his impressionistic style that he is known for today. Since then, he has taken part in numerous artistic competitions and exhibitions around Spain obtaining several awards and mentions. His work can be found in private and public collections in Europe and the US.
