About the Item
Echo III is part of an on-going series that explores the light and landscape in Tennessee. Hartman creates an image on paper then stretches a silkscreen on top of the image to create the diffused final image that you see. This particular painting utilizes saturated burnt hues of orange and yellow to create the illusion of light bursting through an obstruction.
