Late 20th century oil on board view of a valley and mountains in a landscape. Initialed HL (for Hermann Lauschner) and dated bottom right. Signed in full on the frame and the backboard. Presented in silvered wood frame.
Colourful and evocative view of the light and shade produced on a mountain landscape. Wonderful use of colour and texture. The deeper and quicker brushstroke work creates a feeling of the clouds moving in a sky of shadows and highlights.
