"Garage Sale" San Francisco Urban Landscape in Oil on Artist's Board
Lively street scene by Hirschel Rabinov (American, 1921-2012). Gathered in front of a pink house in San Francisco, people are going about their daily lives. There is a garage sale happening, and we can see in to the windows of the house where people are painting and relaxing. This idyllic scene is full of color and vibrancy.
Signed "Hirschel" in the lower right corner.

Hirschel Rabinov (American, 1921-2012) was a member of the Marin Society of Artists and the Artist's Guild of San Francisco. He was a decorated World War II Veteran, serving in the 603rd Engineer Camouflage Battalion. When he retired from real estate, he moved to San Francisco to be closer to his family and pursue his love of painting.
