Approaching River Dart IV is an original work on paper by artist James Bonstow. Made with watercolour and ink James has produced a monotone wash to evoke a sense of atmosphere and depth. Inspired by the landscape around Dartmoor James's studies on natural landscapes and forms have a sense of impressionistic fluidity which is a sure way to highlight any room or space.
James Bonstow original contemporary artist is a passionate artist painting large scale original paintings that are full of energy and space that are timeless. James Bonstow is a self taught artist but has decades worth of art experience from working as an antique dealer prior to becoming a full time artist. James Bonstow works with speed whilst painting and this is reflective in his original canvases with monotone palette. The artworks transport you to a moment in time and it is these elements that James Bonstow captures so well in his paintings.
