A dream like, impressionist river scene showing a wooden boat house on the water of the Seine at Clerey in France. The artist has captured a beautiful blushing dusk with great delicacy and the figures seen in the boat house add intrigue and narrative to this bucolic piece.
The artist has signed to the lower right corner and the painting has been presented in a brushed gilt frame with green cove. There is an RA label at the reverse detailing this painting's acceptance into the Royal Academy in 1985 Summer Exhibition.
