This charming highland scene depicts a Scottish loch painted in shades of icy blue. The artist used gestural brushwork to convey texture in the sweeping landscape, capturing the scene in a simple but effective way. The plaque to the lower edge is inscribed with the artists name. Inscribed verso. Presented in a 19th century Rococo revival frame. On canvas laid to board.
