About the Item
A moment captured in memory of the countryside rushing past her car window is rendered in this light-filled painting by Julie HImel. Known for an imaginative use of colour in her abstracted landscapes, the sky is seen as a swirl of pale blues, mauves and yellow. In the foreground, the fields are golden yellow and the trees deep green.
