About the Item

"Route 90 " Oil on Canvas, 50 x 80 Inches, is a very large landscape of a yellow and green field as seen from a moving car, with sky and mountains in the distant background. Additional photos can be sent showing more details. MacNeille has an amazing ability to paint water, sky and landscapes and the romantic effects of light at all times of day. Her subjects extend far beyond her native Massachusetts to include an equally impressive series of paintings of Niagara Falls both small scale (12 x 12 inches) and large (48 x 48 inches), snow scenes and landscapes. • Square Koi 7
    By Linda Holt
    Located in Wellesley, MA
"Square Koi 7," Oil on Canvas, 24 x 24 Inches, koi fish swimming underwater, brilliant and vivid color, fluid and painterly style, luscious. This painting is sold individually or as part of a diptych or triptych. Linda Holt has been painting koi fish underwater since the 1990s and more recently small and large-scale abstractions. An extraordinary colorist with an exuberant and fluid style, these luscious oils on canvas and wood glimmer and glisten like the koi themselves. With her love of paint and process, the abstractions are a logical evolution of Holt's more figurative work, and the 8" x 8" and 30" x 30...
