Artist Statement: Recently I’ve pivoted from painting El Cajon Boulevard to painting Adams Avenue, where my extended family lives. The old streets where I once lived have been refreshed with vibrant restaurants, shops and foliage. One day I was inspired by the reflections of lights on the rainy road and sidewalks of this old and new street.
