About the Item
This is a new painting and part of my 'grasses' series. I have been interested in the complexity of line this year having shifted from painting and drawing flowers in 2022. My goal was to add mystery and movement in a blaze of color. I want the painting to give the viewer a sense of peace and serenity. There are images of flowers in the background as part of the layering process. The materials are acrylic, oil stick, oil paint and oil pastel.
