A rich and rendered study of two pigeon on a quiet woodland path by 19th century artist Margaret L. Fisher. Sweeping through the top half of the composition, beech trees can be seen changing to their autumn colour. Signed and dated to the lower right. The impressionistic study has been beautifully presented in a swept and gilt frame with a flared running pattern. On canvas on stretchers.
