Mariella Bisson makes paintings using landscape imagery in order to explore color relationships, texture and endless subtleties of paint itself. She works in mixed media on linen or on wood panel. Her exploratory works on paper in watercolor, collage, printmaking and drawing form the basis for large-scale paintings made in her studio in Woodstock, NY. She is represented by art galleries and art consultants nationally.Her paintings can be found in corporate collections including that of the Richemont Corporation, Philip Morris, Pfizer, Perkins & Cooie LLP, Wedge Capital Management, The Bessemer Trust, EKS&H - a financial services provider, Albemarle Corporation, Talisman, People’s Natural Gas, Dun and Bradstreet, Standard & Poors and many others. Her works are in the collections of The Gelsenkirchen City Museum, Germany and in the Zimmerli Museum in New Jersey.
