Hill Looking Over the Water, Early 20th Century Landscape by Paul Kujal
Serene depiction of a hill looking out over the water by Paul Kujal (Austrian, 1888-1965). In this beautiful early 20th century spring time scene, a grassy hillside on the water's edge is dotted with blooming plants and trees in soft pinks and light greens.
Signed in the lower right corner.
No frame.
Canvas size: 24"H x 26"W.
Paul Kajal was born in Vienna and studied with Rudolf von Weyr. Kujal practiced his craft while travelling to Switzerland, Italy and France. His works of art have been exhibited in Vienna in the "Glaspalast", "Segantinibund" and "Sezession;" his works became popular in the United States and are now held in many private collections.
