This captivating landscape was painted by French artist, Regis Sibra. The piece is set in a region of Provence. The town which he captures, floats amongst a gray background. Vegetation frames the typical southern French buildings. It is an interesting and surreal piece. Regis Sibra was born 1953 in Provence. At the age of eight, he began taking painting courses with a renowned professor. He later had several expositions in France and several other countries where he received numerous awards for his talents: Grand Prix du Réalisme, Prix Sévigné, Prix Master, Grand Prix de la ville de Fréjus, and many others. The Musée International de Gien acquired two of his paintings for their collection. He has been a member of numerous salons throughout his career.
