About the Item
A fine landscape along a brook by American artist Robert Ward Van Boskerck (1855-1932). Boskerck was an Impressionist landscape painter who preferred quiet scenes drawn from his domestic and foreign travels. He graduated in 1877 from the The School of Mines of Columbia University School (the first mining and metallurgy school in the U.S.) and received his artistic education from R. He also painted in the Adirondack Mountains.
