About the Item
Jean Soyer initially painted this artwork as a large painting in 2002. But he was unsatisfied by his work, so he cropped it in 2015 and transformed it into this veritable masterpiece.
This lyrical abstraction artwork almost figures a winter mountain landscape, with a stormy snowfall and fog striking a black rocky ledge from behind, but obviously it can be enjoyed per se without any need of interpretation. Hints of red and purple provide depth, density and relief to the whole.
The painting is framed with a large black handcrafted wood L-frame with cavetto molding and silver gilding, which truly highlights Jean Soyer's style.
