Simone Balvi
Rue de Guade St. Martin

About the Item

Her canvases are a window of various scenes and landscapes of France. She will take you to the open markets in Le Chatre, which is so typical of the vivacious French way of living in deep France, or to lunch in the garden in Giverny, and George Sand's home. Her landscapes are full of poppies, irises, daises, multi-colored peonies, puffy clouds as well as bunches of sunflowers, which abound in beautiful and airy compositions. Balvi's painting are best described as Neo-Impressionism.
