About the Item

A fine impressionist coastal painting with boats in the harbor and a cabbage garden in the foreground by French artist Louis Abel-Truchet (1857-1918). Louis Abel-Truchet was born in Versailles in 1857. He enrolled at the Académie Julian in 1890 to study under Jules Lefebvre and Jean Benjamin-Constant.
